Half pound of fentanyl, guns, and cash seized in Highland Park drug bust

HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. – A narcotics investigation by the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) has led to a significant drug seizure in Highland Park.

The incident occurred on Thursday (April 17) when COMET executed a search warrant at a residence.

Police say in total, approximately half a pound of fentanyl, half an ounce of cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, two assault rifles, and two pistols, with one being a stolen firearm, a handheld pill press, and narcotics packaging materials.

Additionally, officials recovered approximately $10,000 with the intent to forfeit.
