Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel recently launched a new tool that helps residents learn more about how they could be impacted by the Trump administration’s federal actions.

The Federal Actions Tracker provides information on Nessel’s legal actions in response to the Trump administration’s orders.

“Left unchallenged, Donald Trump’s unlawful actions would have grave consequences for Michigan and, as Attorney General, it is my responsibility to defend the rights of our residents and uphold the rule of law,” Nessel said. “Michiganders deserve to know how these illegal federal actions affect their lives and how my office, alongside attorneys general across the country, are fighting back. This tracker makes it easier for residents to follow our ongoing efforts to hold Donald Trump and his administration accountable.”

Nessel has filed 10 lawsuits and 17 supportive briefs since Trump took office.

The attorney general also released a new reporting form for people who experience disruptions to their Social Security benefits.

Nessel has also been meeting with residents and legislators throughout Michigan about the “legal strategies against unlawful executive actions and to learn more about how these actions impact local communities,” according to the release.

So far, these meetings have been held in Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Plymouth, Detroit, Kalamazoo, Benton Harbor and Flint Township, and town halls will be happening in Lansing, Southfield and Roseville soon.
