Missing Detroit teen London Thomas found dead after weeks of searching

Thomas was last seen on April 5

DETROIT – A Detroit teen who had been missing since April 5 was found dead Saturday after weeks of searching.

London Thomas, 17, was last seen on April 5 when she was dropped off at her boyfriend’s house on Carlysle Street in Inkster.

Inkster police confirm to Local 4 that Thomas was found dead Saturday after they received a tip and forwarded it to the FBI.

It’s unclear where she was found and what circumstances led to her death at this time.

For weeks, her family and community members had been searching for Thomas.

Detroit police, along with the FBI, searched the home of the teen’s boyfriend on Carlysle Street in Inkster last week.
