Tribar pleads guilty for releasing cancer-causing chemical into Huron River

Tribar Technologies pleaded guilty to a criminal discharge in violation of the federal Clean Water Act for releasing a cancer-causing chemical into Huron River in 2022.

Hexavalent chromium was released into the Wixom Sewage Treatment Facility from Tribar in July 2022. Contaminated water from the treatment facility was released into the Huron River system.

Michigan man wins $6 million prize after buying scratch-off lottery tickets for over 40 years

A Michigan man thought he was going to faint when he discovered that he won a $6 million lottery prize.

The 60-year-old from Macomb County, who decided to stay anonymous, purchased his winning $6,000,000 Wealth scratch-off ticket at Najors Liquor & Deli, located at 43903 Van Dyke Avenue in Sterling Heights.
