According to Waterford police, this is the second time a place was graffitied in the area. After painting graffiti, the suspects appeared to head toward Cass Lake Shore Club Apartments. Police said these crimes happened after dark, and the locations cannot be seen from the road.
“We have seen a slight uptick in these types of incidents,” said Waterford police. “Painting graffiti on someone else’s property is not art, it is destruction of property, and against the law. We intend to find and charge those who commit these criminal acts.”
The Waterford Police Department is offering a $250 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects.
Authorities are asking residents, business owners and those visiting the area to keep an eye out, “If you see something, say something.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Rachel White at (248) 618-6122.
