The 2025 NCAA DI women’s tennis championship starts Friday

The 2025 NCAA DI Women’s Tennis Championship is about to begin. 64 teams will compete in the first round, which starts Friday (May 2).

The qualifiers were announced on Monday (April 28) during the selection show. The top four seeds are Georgia (No. 1), Texas A&M (No. 2), Michigan (No. 3), and Ohio State (No. 4).

The University of Michigan goes up against Youngstown State in the first round. The game is in Ann Arbor on Friday at 1 pm.

U of M is hosting the first and second rounds at the Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor. Arizona State and Ole Miss will play in Ann Arbor as well, their game is on Friday at 10 am. On Saturday (May 3), the Arizona State/Ole Miss winner and Michigan/Youngstown State winner will play at 2 pm. Admission is free for the events at the Varsity Tennis Center.

The second round is May 3, the super regionals are May 9-11, and the women’s team championships are May 15-18.

The team tournament (May 15-18) will be at Baylor University’s Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.

The University of Michigan is the No. 3 seed for the second straight season. It’s the fourth top-five seed in program history (No. 4 2010, No. 5 2023; No. 3 2024).
