Joann Fabric filed for bankruptcy for a second time in January, and now all of its stores are closing.
Six Michigan locations closed at the end of April, and the rest will remain open until the end of this month.

Two people were charged after a man was shot at a Detroit nightclub earlier this week, officials said.
Alveon Roosevelt Kindle, 21, of Clinton Township, and Paul Monyee Kindle, 23, of Southfield, are facing charges in the non-fatal shooting of a 27-year-old Detroit man, according to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.
The shooting happened at 12:31 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025.
