Red Hawk Bar & Grill has been serving customers at its South State Street location since 1992.
The company says the reasoning behind the closing was due to the pandemic and rising food costs which “made it increasingly difficult to continue operating in the way we had always hoped.”
“The past few years have tested us in all the ways we never anticipated, and while we’ve fought to overcome these challenges, the financial strain has become insurmountable,” the post read.
The restaurant went on to thank its customers who have supported the business over the past 33 years and says it’ll cherish the memories they’ve created.
The restaurant’s final day was Friday.
