Argument over woman leads to shooting at Detroit carwash

DETROIT – A fight over a woman reportedly resulted in a shooting at a Detroit car wash.

It happened at about 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, at the Fast Splash Car Wash near the intersection of Grand River and Fenkell avenues. The men were reportedly arguing when one of them pulled out a gun and started shooting.

Police said the victim was shot six times and is in critical condition and the suspect allegedly shot himself in the hand.

The gunman ran off, but police took him into custody shortly after.
