DETROIT – Big Sean announced he will be playing a free concert in Detroit this weekend, and tickets for the show will be completely free.
The Detroit native announced the concert, “A Night of Dark Paradise,” in a post on Instagram. He said the purpose of the concert is to celebrate 10 years of “Dark Sky Paradise,” his album that was released on Feb. 24, 2015.
“My first time performing my album front to back this Sunday,” the rapper wrote in the post on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. “A NIGHT OF DARK SKY PARADISE! celebrating 10 years! Tix are absolutely free thanks to @chime - TIX AVAILABLE FRIDAY @ 3PM EST. It’s up, DETROIT!”
The concert is set to happen at 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Saint Andrews Hall, according to the post.
Big Sean said that tickets to the show will be free thanks to Chime, a banking app.
Tickets will be available at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025. In the post, fans were directed to this link to sign up for updates about the concert tickets.
