DEARBORN, Mich. – The Dearborn Police Department arrested four men in connection with a large theft operation that allegedly involved a Ford employee stealing vehicle parts.

Police said that during the months-long investigation, they discovered that a Ford employee was allegedly stealing new vehicle parts and providing them to a Detroit business to sell.

On Tuesday, May 6, search warrants were executed at a home in Dearborn, a home in Canton Township and two businesses in Detroit.

Dearborn investigators, with assistance from Ford Motor Company Global Security, arrested four men. Their identities, along with additional details surrounding the case, are being withheld pending charges from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

“These arrests were made possible through the diligent and sophisticated work of our investigative units and with the help and cooperation of the Ford Motor Company Global Security,” said Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin. “Such criminal plots will not be tolerated in Dearborn and we will employ all resources to bring them down.”
