Royal Oak parking problems: Changes finally coming after 4 years of complaints

Parking has been a longstanding problem in Royal Oak, but there are finally some changes on the horizon.

In 2021, the city of Royal Oak rolled out a new parking system that sparked major frustration among residents and business owners.

Longtime Detroit Tigers TV personality no longer part of broadcasts after position eliminated

A Detroit Tigers TV personality who has been with their broadcast partners for 25 years is no longer going to be a part of broadcasts after he says his position was eliminated.

Mickey York shared the news Tuesday on X. He said the Tigers are going in a different direction with their broadcasts, and he will no longer be part of the show.

Weather: Much needed sunshine returns to the forecast in Metro Detroit for Wednesday

After a mild day with scattered rain showers for Tuesday, we have started to dry things out overnight last night into this morning, and we will keep the sunshine into the forecast looking ahead into the middle of the week.

Out the door on Wednesday Morning, expect some patchy dense fog reducing visibilities for some heading to work and also at the bus stop. We will trade in the dense fog for some sunshine as we work throughout the morning. High temperatures warming into the low to mid 70s by the afternoon.
