Michiganders near the Canadian border might receive an alert on Wednesday.

Canada’s National Public Alerting System will be tested throughout the day on May 7, 2025.

There’s a good chance some cellphones in the United States along the border of Canada will also receive the test alert.

The message will say it’s from “(Province name) Alert Ready System.”

Canadian radio, TV, and cable stations will also broadcast a test message.
