Man found guilty for breaking into Eminem’s Clinton Township home for second time

Matthew Hughes also broke into rappers home years ago

MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A man was convicted of breaking into rapper Eminem’s Clinton Township home for a second time.

A Macomb County jury found Matthew Hughes guilty of stalking and home invasion.

In August 2024, he was seen on Eminem’s property and arrested three days later.

Five years ago, he broke into the rapper’s home for the first time. That time, Hughes came face-to-face with Eminem and threatened to “kill him.”

Hughes is scheduled to be sentenced on June 17, 2025.
