Detroiters recognized for their artistic influence

Five people have been awarded the Detroit ACE Honors Medal

The Detroit Arts, Culture, & Entrepreneurship (ACE) division celebrate Detroiters today who are artistic pioneers. This is the third year for this annual event that recognizes people from Detroit who have had a significant cultural impact on the city and around the globe through their art.

Director of Arts & Culture, Rochelle Riley, recognized this year’s recipients at a program held at The Wright in Downtown Detroit.

This year’s recipients are:

  • Carole Morriseau
