According to authorities, Hargrove and Jenkins were working as USPS employees when they allegedly stole checks -- including U.S. Treasury tax refund checks -- from the mail and provided them to Williams and Foreman, who reportedly sold them online via Telegram.
Williams is also facing money laundering charges for activities in October 2022 and for allegedly submitting fraudulent pandemic unemployment insurance claims amounting to millions of dollars between August and December 2020.
If convicted of conspiracy, all four people face up to 30 years in prison.
