Bobcat Bonnie’s in Ferndale to close abruptly

Final day announced just hours before opening

FERNDALE, Mich. – Bobcat Bonnie’s has closed another one of their restaurants.

The quick-growing and now even quicker-closing string of restaurants announced its location in Ferndale’s last day would be Monday, June 2.

The announcement was posted on social media just hours before the day started.

They will open for their last day at 11 a.m. and will stay open until 10 p.m. or until they run out of food -- whichever comes first.

The closure comes after a string of closures for the restaurant, which saw its Corktown location shut down in March, Wyandotte in January, Ypsilanti in October, Clinton Township in August and Grand Rapids in December.

The only remaining Bobcat Bonnie’s location is in Lansing.

Tables, chairs, glassware and more will be on sale at the Ferndale location starting Tuesday, June 3.
