Tesla fleet at former Marvin’s Museum site sparks city enforcement action in Farmington Hills

Over 100 Tesla Cybertrucks, cars, and SUVs are being stored there, and Farmington Hills is taking issue with it

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Hunters Square shopping center, located on Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills, is undergoing redevelopment.

The shopping center was once home to the beloved Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum.

Now, a fleet of Teslas has moved into the parking lot right outside the shuttered Bed, Bath & Beyond.

A hundred or more Tesla Cybertrucks, cars, and SUVs are being stored there, and the city of Farmington Hills is taking issue with it.

According to a spokesperson, vehicle storage is not a permitted use of the space.

In a statement, a city spokesperson went on to say, “The City of Farmington Hills code enforcement office has been in communication with the Hunter’s Square shopping center management to resolve the issue. The enforcement process is being followed and takes time.”
