BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 20-year-old woman was killed after she was ejected from her vehicle in a Bloomfield Township rollover crash.

The crash occurred on Monday (June 2) at 9 p.m. on southbound I-75 near Squirrel Road.

Bloomfield Township police said the woman was traveling southbound on I-75 when she lost control, ran off the roadway to the right, and into a ditch.

Officials said the 20-year-old woman from Livonia was not wearing a seatbelt, which led to her being ejected when the vehicle rolled over multiple times.

Police said her 21-year-old passenger, who is a man from Inkster, was wearing his seatbelt and was not ejected.

Members of the South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT) responded to the scene to investigate the crash.

This case is still under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Traffic Division.
