St. Clair Shores resident Eric Wojnowski, 53, has been charged with possession of child sexually abusive material.
The incident occurred on Tuesday (June 3) by the Macomb Area Computer Enforcement (M.A.C.E) Detectives, along with the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), executed a search warrant.

Police said Wojnowski was allegedly in possession of child sexually abusive material.
The 53-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.
MACE Detectives received information from the Michigan Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force via the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) indicating numerous CSAM videos and images allegedly being uploaded by the suspect.
Officials said several pieces of evidence seized from the home are under forensic review.
Wojnowski was arraigned June 4, 2025, at the 40th District Court in St. Clair Shores, on the following charges:
• Count 1: Child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession (10-year felony)
• Count 2: Child sexually abusive material – possession (Four-year felony)
• Count 3: Child sexually abusive material – possession (Four-year felony)
• Count 4: Computers – using to commit a crime – maximum imprisonment of 10 years or more but less than 20 years (10-year felony)
• Count 5: Computers – using to commit a crime – maximum imprisonment of four years or more but less than 10 years (Seven-year felony)
• Count 6: Computers – using to commit a crime – maximum imprisonment of four years or more but less than 10 years (Seven-year felony)
Wojnowski was given a $10,000 bond, cash/surety, 10%. Officials said he posted bond and was released on June 5, 2025.
