Residents hail new healthcare access

“This is so amazing. This is what this community needs,” said Sr. Pastor Tony Starks of The Life Church Detroit, a neighbor to the new health care center.

The new clinic represents a vital resource for local residents, offering a one-stop shop for healthcare needs. Neighbors said it is important having a facility that consolidates services in one location, reducing the need for patients to travel to multiple hospitals for care.

“To have something like this in this area at this time, where people can come... you can do everything right here. This is what this community needs so, so, so bad,” Stark added.

The necessity for a medical facility in this community was great, according to Dr. Ted Naman and Dr. Greg Naman. The Naman brothers began transforming the former rundown and blighted building in 2024.

“The place was just a hot mess,” Dr. Ted Naman explained. “The vision has finally come together. Today is, again, a great day!”

Now, more than a year later, the community has access to a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. Epic Health-West Davison will offer a range of comprehensive, innovative, and preventative care services for the entire family.

“We wanted to bring something to the community of beauty, but of quality as well,” Dr. Greg Naman said.

The team at Epic Health Systems views this new clinic as more than just a health center; they refer to it as a Help Center, equipped with the space and resources for the community to enjoy.

Staff said with the opening of the Epic Health-West Davison Clinic, residents of the Russell Woods-Sullivan neighborhood, and beyond, can look forward to improved health services and a brighter future.
