DETROIT – The woman accused of opening fire on a man who was trying to repossess her car in Detroit appeared in court.
Shaquanda Tankersley faces several charges for last week’s shooting.
Police shot Tankersley as they attempted to get control of the scene in Detroit.
Monday (June 16) in court, Local 4 learned from prosecutors that Tankersley is a CPL holder.
The defense argued that Tankersley has no history of violence and pushed for no cash bond.
The judge, however, was not convinced, and she was given a $55,000 cash/surety bond.
She’ll be back in court for a bond redetermination hearing on Wednesday.
