WARREN, Mich. – A newly released dashcam video shows the deadly crash involving Warren police in September 2024.
The video shows the officer speeding at 116 mph — nearly triple the speed limit — when he slammed into an SUV on Sept. 30, 2024, killing two men.
Cedric Hayden, Jr. and Dejuan Pettis were turning left when the patrol car slammed into their SUV.
The police car did not have its emergency lights on, and officials said the officers were not involved in a chase.
Fieger Law released the video as part of a lawsuit filed by the victims’ families.
