PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A stranger danger alert has been issued after a teen runner was approached by an older white man driving a white pickup truck, who honked his horn as he drove past her in Plymouth Township.
The incident occurred on Monday (July 14) at 12:03 p.m. in the area of Joy and McClumpha roads.
Police said the complaint reported that his teenage daughter had been running in the vicinity.
Officers spoke to the complainant’s daughter, who stated that after honking his horn at her, the man turned his vehicle around and approached her.
Police said the girl stated that he had advised her that she was “so beautiful that he had to look at her again”.
After her second encounter with the subject, the complainant’s daughter ran into an adjoining neighborhood where a neighbor assisted her as she called her father.
The man’s vehicle is described as a white pickup truck (no make or model info available).
He is described as a white man in his 60s with slicked-back black hair.
