INKSTER, Mich. – A man has been hospitalized after he was shot in the chest and back in broad daylight in Inkster.
The shooting occurred on Friday (Oct. 17) after 4 p.m. in the area of Carlysle Street and Andover Street.

Police said the man was taken to a Metro Detroit hospital and was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was arrested, and a weapon was recovered.
Officials said the motive was unknown.
