“My wife and I have been playing KENO! for quite a while and we always play the same set of numbers,” the Wayne County man said. “I gave the ticket to my wife, and she checked it the next day by looking at the numbers on MichiganLottery.com. When she realized we had won $250,000 she checked the numbers three more times and then took the ticket to the store to scan it and make sure it was real. We are ecstatic! Winning a prize like this feels surreal.”
The player purchased his winning ticket at Conant-Caniff Market at 11303 Conant Street in Hamtramck.
He plans to buy a house and then save the rest of his winnings.
