ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. – Police have confirmed a person of interest has been taken into custody after a body was found in a Macomb County driveway.
The body was discovered just before 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, in the driveway of a home near the intersection of Francis Street and Harper Avenue.
Authorities have not released many details about the investigation, but police said the body had injuries consistent with being hit by a car.
“When I came out this morning, I saw a sheet-covered body laying in the street, quite a few officers out there, crime scene tape wrapped around, across the street they were blocking the entire street off,” said one neighbor, who asked not to be identified.
“Some of the neighbors were saying they saw the body uncovered earlier and there was blood all over.”
