WARREN, Mich. – Warren Consolidated Schools teacher Mark Michael Sharrow, 37, has been arraigned on multiple felony charges after authorities say sexually explicit videos involving minors were found on his cellphone during a search related to a separate criminal sexual conduct case.

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said Sharrow, of Warren, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, on a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge out of Houghton Lake, Michigan.

Officials said Sharrow’s home and cellphone were searched under warrants following his arrest. Prosecutors allege that sexually explicit videos of minors were found on his cellphone. Methamphetamine and LSD also allegedly were discovered at his home.

Sharrow was arraigned Wednesday (Aug. 19) in 37th District Court in Warren.

He faces five counts of child sexually abusive material — aggravated possession, each a 10-year felony; five counts of using a computer to commit a crime, each carrying a maximum sentence of 10 years; one count of possession of methamphetamine, a 10-year felony; and one count of possession of a Schedule 5 controlled substance and LSD, a one-year misdemeanor.

Prosecutors said the charges reflect the maximum offenses available under state law based on evidence presented so far.

A judge set Sharrow’s bond at $1 million cash or surety, with no 10% option.

If released, Sharrow must wear a GPS tether and is prohibited from using the internet or any device that can access it.

He is also barred from contact with minors and from entering locations where minors commonly congregate.

Sharrow is a teacher at the Warren Consolidated School of Performing Arts.

He is scheduled to appear for a probable cause conference at 37th District Court at 8:45 a.m. Sept. 1, 2026.
