"It will be a comfortable place to enjoy inspired menu offerings and high-quality beer, and capture the passion of a great sports town where people love and support their teams," said general manager Steve Zanella. "TAP will remind metro Detroiters of the city's early days, yet still have 21st century appeal."
Zanella said the design will celebrate Detroit's industrial age with interiors made of concrete, wood and steel. The ceilings will be made of tin and the tables will be reclaimed wine barrels.
TAP will also feature a private dining room with room for 100.
It will have a collection of 50 beers, including local brands, along with 30 flat-screen televisions for game-day viewing.
TAP is set top open in the fall.
