Michigan State University police will hold next news conference later this week

News briefing will not be held Tuesday

EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University police will not hold another news conference on Tuesday.

Police have been providing updates on a mass shooting on the university’s campus that left three students dead and five students critically injured Monday night. The suspected shooter killed himself off campus after an hourslong manhunt.

Police said the next news conference will take place later this week. A date, time and location will be announced at a later time.
