EAST LANSING, Mich. – Police have released photos of a suspect in a mass shooting on Michigan State University’s campus that left at least three people dead and five others hospitalized.
Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman provided an update during a news conference at 11 p.m. Monday.

Rozman said the shooting started at 8:18 p.m. on Monday inside Berkey Hall. There were several 911 calls and police responded within minutes, he said.
Rozman said at least five people have been transported to a hospital and some do have life-threatening injuries.
Police believe there is one suspect behind the shootings. He was last seen leaving the MSU Union building on foot, on the north side of the building.
Police described the suspect as a man who was wearing red shoes, a jean jacket and a ball cap.
