A well-known Michigan beer garden is getting some national attention.
USA Today released their 10Best winners for best beer gardens in the U.S., and a Northern Michigan spot came in at No. 2 on the list.

Hop Lot Brewing Co., in Suttons Bay, is a beautiful outdoor brewery that first opened in 2015, featuring a wide variety of beers, in a relaxing setting in the woods.
“Embracing its Northern Michigan roots, Hop Lot Brewing’s beer garden invites guests to warm up around the campfire or relax at picnic tables while enjoying their brews,” USA Today wrote about its No. 2 winner.
The beer garden also features campfires, picnic tables, games and more.
“For us, the experience of our brewery is just as important as the quality of our beer and food. We gave our unique outdoor beer garden an “Up North” twist, complete with campfires, assorted picnic tables, outdoor games, s’more roasting and more.
