DETROIT – An unknown Michigan Lottery player won $1M playing the Mega Millions this week.
A player in New Jersey won the $1B jackpot for the Tuesday night Mega Millions drawing, but there was also one $1 million ticket sold here in Michigan.

The ticket was sold in Jackson, at Kelly’s Express Market, according to the Michigan Lottery.
The lucky winners should contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prizes. The prizes must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.
The Mega Millions jackpot was last won in Michigan in January 2021 by an Oakland County lottery club. The club won a $1.05 billion Mega Millions jackpot. That jackpot was the largest ever won in Michigan and the sixth largest in U.S. lottery history.
