SAUGATUCK, Mich. – A city along Lake Michigan has been named the No. 2 best coastal small town in the United States in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award Contest.
Saugatuck was the only Michigan town featured in the list out of the 10 coastal towns. Nominees were chosen by a panel of experts, which included editors from USA Today and 10Best.com.
Saugatuck was among winners that included Key West, Florida; Gulf Shores, Alabama; Newport, Rode Island; and Pismo Beach California, and others.
