DETROIT – Of course we’re all familiar with the Mackinac Bridge in Northern Michigan, or the Joe Louis Fist in Detroit. But there are tons of iconic landmarks throughout the state that don’t get as much attention.

Our newsroom has been talking a lot about the controversial golden “Halo” sculpture -- known locally by a different, less appropriate name -- after we visited Sterling Heights for our latest installment of In Your Neighborhood. It’s got us thinking about other landmarks, those famous and those lesser-known, in Metro Detroit and beyond.

And so, we want to hear from you: What is your favorite Michigan landmark? Do you have a favorite Detroit landmark? Tell us in the form below!

We want to see just how popular some of these landmarks are, or if maybe there’s a hidden gem somewhere that we’re missing.
