Now after $70,000 in renovations the building has been transformed into a positive learning environment for kids.
The project was the result of two brother's dream to make a positive difference in the community.
DJ and Ryan Ikeler started the Center for Success as a place for students to receive tutoring help twice a week.
The brothers bought the building after raising money through Facebook from people and private organizations.
The tutoring will be offered for kindergarteners through 6th graders from 4:30-6:30 on Tuesdays and for 7th through 12th graders from 4:30-6:30 on Thursdays.
Grand opening celebrations will take place this evening from 5-8pm.
The center is located at 245 E. Rundell Street in Pontiac.
