DETROIT – DTE Energy said power was restored Friday night to about 9,000 customers in Wayne County.
The outage spanned homes and businesses in Westland and Livonia.

A DTE spokesman said the outages were likely caused by a problem at a substation near Cherry Hill and Venoy roads in Westland. He did not say what the problem was.
