Her sentence is up May 16.

Conyers, the wife of Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers of Detroit, was previously being held in a federal prison in West Virginia before she made the move in December to the halfway house.

She entered prison in 2010 after pleading guilty in 2009 to taking bribes while on the Detroit council.

She was sentenced to 37 months in prison, but federal inmates typically can trim their time with good behavior.
