The Powerball jackpot grew even more Thursday, since nobody had the winning numbers from Wednesday night’s drawing.
The jackpot was estimated at $750 million on the night of Wednesday, July 12 -- which would have put the lump-sum cash option at around $378 million.

Without a winner Wednesday night, the Powerball jackpot rose to an estimated $875 million as of Thursday morning -- the third-largest prize in the game’s history. The biggest Powerball jackpot of all time was at $2.04 billion last November.
The next drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. on Saturday, July 15.
