Cellphone video from North Carolina captured the shocking moment when a fair worker fell from the Ferris wheel he was trying to repair Friday night. He suffered only minor injuries.
The video shows the worker clinging to one of the cars. Frightened onlookers watch as he loses his balance and tumbles to the ground, hitting another car and parts of the metal structure on the way down. The worker manages to get up and walk away from the fall.

According to WRAL, the worker was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries and has since been released.
One of the gondola cars on the Ferris wheel reportedly began to tilt out of its normal position with at least one young boy stuck inside, prompting the repair.
In a statement released Saturday, Central Carolina Fair said the gondola has been re-inspected and that state officials have approved the ride to be back in use.
