New plan launched to catch Chelsea Small's killer

30-year-old mother shot dead in 2013 at cash advance shop in Taylor

TAYLOR, Mich. – Police have long thought the suspect in Chelsea Small's murder has left the state.

The hope is more people in far away places will see new images of her suspected killer. She was killed in November 2013 at a cash advance shop in Taylor.

Police now say the killer could have been a truck driver, based on how he was dressed and the fact that he did not get into a vehicle but instead walked south on Telegraph Road after shooting the 30-year-old mother.

Small's sisters were out Tuesday putting posters on trucks. Police hope drivers will see these trucks, see the posters and recognize the man.

Anyone with information on this murder needs to contact Taylor police.
