DETROIT – A 31-year-old woman was shot Tuesday morning when her boyfriend mistook her for an intruder, according to police.
The shooting happened in the 3000 block of Cadieux Road, near Mack Avenue.

Police said the woman forgot her keys and tried to enter the house through a bedroom window. Her boyfriend thought she was an intruder and fired a shot, authorities said.
The woman was shot in the wrist.
