DETROIT – Michigan State police and the Detroit bomb squad surrounded a warehouse Thursday on Detroit's east side after investigators executing a narcotics search warrant got information that it might have been bobby-trapped with explosives.
The DEA was handling the search warrant at the warehouse on Ryan Road near Davison Street, but called in the local police for back up. Robots and police K9s swept the building. After the all-clear was given, investigators continued with the search warrant.
State police said there is no danger to the immediate community.
