Speed, alcohol believed to be factors in crash that killed 2 Michigan teens

OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. – Two teens were killed in a car crash in Northern Michigan over the weekend.

The crash happened around 4:35 p.m. on Saturday at the intersection of VanTyle Road and South Townline Road in Gaylord, Michigan.

WPBN reports the victims were identified as 19-year-old Nikolia Webber from Antrim County and 18-year-old Leszek Wasylewski from Charlevoix County.

The drivers of each vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

WPBN reports speed and alcohol are believed to be factors, but officials are awaiting toxicology reports.
