DETROIT – Sean English is just 16 years old, and he was horribly injured when he raced to help others.
What happened to him would devastate most people, but not Sean, whose guts and determination are inspiring everyone around him.
In April, Sean and his parents watched a car full of teens flip on I-96. As they rushed to help, Sean was hit by another car and lost part of his right leg.
Now, a Metro Detroit organization is helping Sean with his new beginning, and Local 4 was invited along on the emotional journey from Detroit to Chicago's Shriner Hospital.
