Bashara, a Grosse Pointe Park mother of two, was found dead in the back of her SUV in a Detroit alley on Jan. 25, 2012.
She had been reported missing the night before.
Handyman says he was told to do it
A man named Joe Gentz who did odd jobs for Bob Bashara pleaded guilty to killing Jane -- but said it was all under the order of her husband.
He took a plea deal on a charge of second-degree murder and has been sentenced to 17-28 years in prison.
Bob Bashara has not been charged in connection with his wife's death, but he has been convicted of trying to have Gentz killed.
A hit man plot
Last June, police said Bob worked to hire a hit man to kill Gentz in jail.
Bob pleaded guilty to solicitation of murder in October and said he "foolishly and regrettably" had offered to pay a man to find someone to kill Gentz.
