According to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, Grazhdani was stabbed multiple times about 5 a.m. Saturday.

Nikoloski is charged with first-degree premeditated murder. He was arraigned Tuesday morning and is being held without bond at the Wayne County Jail. His next court hearing is scheduled for Sept. 18.

Westland police said Saturday they were hoping to review the surveillance video from inside the building to shed light on what happened.

"We definitely need a lot of answers," a neighbor said. "If you look around the parking lot, you'll see many people from the building who are concerned."
