Happy Sunday! Our weekend edition of this newsletter will be a bit different from the normal Monday through Friday version. On Sundays, I'll try my best to get you ready for the week ahead. Let's take a look at what to keep an eye on this week.

Up Next

  • Halloween on Thursday: Yes, seriously. It's Halloween already. And it could snow?! We'll keep you posted. But this is your warning -- get your candy ready.
  • Carrie Underwood in town: Seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood will perform at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night. She will be joined on tour by special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.
  • Angels' Night in Detroit: Each year, the City of Detroit always welcomes volunteers to help patrol the streets for Angels' Night, which is October 29-31 this year. You can volunteer to patrol a neighborhood or watch your block, or simply turn on your porch light.
  • Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin: The "Grace & Frankie" stars will be at the Fox Theatre on Wednesday night. Tomlin, of course, will be returning home to Detroit. The event will be hosted by Mitch Albom.

Housekeeping 🧹

Hey, if you like this newsletter, let us know. We'd love your feedback. We also offer several other newsletters that probably cater to at least one of your interests -- unless you're only interested in whiskey glasses. We don't have one for whiskey glasses. Sorry.
