- EB I-96 ramp to Evergreen closed for maintenance -- this is through the end of the year.
- EB I-94 from Chene St to Conner St right lane closed for maintenance -- just today.
- NB/SB M-1 (Woodward Ave) from 14 Mile Rd to Normandy Rd left lane closed for permit work -- through October.

Whitmer to hold newser on Michigan budget
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will host a news conference this morning on the state's 2020 budget. Whitmer's office said it has been more than six months since the governor introduced her budget, which includes $2.5 billion in new revenue per year to fix the damn roads, improve education and skills training, and clean up Michigan's drinking water. The budget deadline is Sept. 30.
19th Annual Ted Lindsay Foundation Golf Outing
The event features a majority of the Detroit Red Wings players, local celebrities, golf, dinner, auctions, and more. It will also be the first outing since Ted Lindsay passed away. The event works to raise money for Autism research and to help those impacted by Autism.
Man tries to break world push-up record in Utica
Spinocerebellar Ataxia sufferer Brett Masserant will attempt to break the world 12-hour pushup record. Masserant is hoping to raise Ataxia awareness by attempting the feat, which will take place at noon in his cryotherapy store, Accelerated Innovative Recovery in Utica, Michigan. Ataxia effects an estimated 150,000 people in the United States.
Vote in semifinal: Who did Detroit sports fans despise the most?
We're into the semifinal round -- with No. 1 seeds taking three of the spots. The exception being in the NBA region, where Ron Artest upset Michael Jordan in the regional final.

Teddy Bear Day 🧸
Remember that Teddy Bear you carried around everywhere you went as a child? This day is for that bear (hopefully you've let it go by now). Teddy Bears date back to President Theodore Roosevelt. While hunting, he refused to shoot a small bear. The story was picked up by the press and eventually a toy company named a stuffed animal after Roosevelt's hunting decision. The rest is, as they say, history.
Today in history: Elvis Presley makes first appearance on "The Ed Sullivan Show"
Today in 1956, The King of Rock and Roll teams up with TV's reigning variety program, as Elvis Presley appears on "The Ed Sullivan Show" for the first time. It became the most-watched TV broadcast of the 1950s.
