For the third consecutive year, transportation around Downtown Detroit will be fast, easy, and absolutely free!
Courtesy of the Sprint LTE Networks, the Detroit People Mover will feature free fares from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Riders will be able to access the People Mover from any of its 13 stations around the Downtown Detroit area. Detroit People Mover General Manager Barbara Hansen expressed the enthusiasm to provide free fares to families coming downtown, “We’re excited to have a new partner in Sprint on this special day so that area families can come together to enjoy downtown events."
